Belleview Park

We had a very fun day at a local park this past week! Even though it was a very hot day, everyone had a ton of fun (we went with Jill, Isabella and Gammy)! There was a miniature train we rode around the park (the kids cried when we had to get off as they wanted to do it again---the line was too long to do that, but we promised to come back someday!), a children's farm where we got to pet animals (cows, goats, sheep and a pig), and a few different playgrounds to play all around. Everyone was exhausted by the time we got home....we can't wait to go back there again :)

Keeping busy

So I found that Jackson has found a new hobby.....jogging! We were at the park the other day and this man ran past us. Jackson just stood there looking at him, mesmerized for a second, and then started running after him! By the time I realized what he was doing, I was laughing and could not get my camera out quick enough (which is why the picture is not so great, but you get the point!)....so below is Jackson jogging after this man!

Actually this look is because Jackson really didn't want his picture taken, but I took it anyway....I wanted to get a pic of him in his new kicks....he loves them! Jackson just looks so grown up these days....our little boy is no longer little :)

Summertime

We are so excited summer is here! The pool has been great and Jackson loves everything about it! He enjoys the fact that he can now sit in the little pool and touch the bottom while standing up in the shallow end of the big pool this year :) He's getting so big!

Last day of school

May 17th was Jackson's last day of school for the year....it was such a fun year and he really loved his teachers (Ms. Sarah and Ms. Cynthia) and all the other kids in his class! They had a cute musical performance while singing some songs, watched a slide show of pictures from the year and then ended with a cupcake and juice. It was a great end-of-the-year party :)
