Trip to Florida

We had a great time in Florida last week at Debbie and John's house. They are so gracious to host us yet again this year (thank you SO much for everything you did for us!) and we (Gammy, Aunt Jill, Isabella, and Gianna) had lots of fun visiting with them. GG and GG drove up to be with us all week and we got to see Gammy's brothers too. We rode the ATV and golf cart at least once a day (some days more!), were able to get in the pool one day (it was a bit cooler weather), found a really fun park nearby and just laughed a lot. It was another great trip :)

Just landed in Florida and we were given these cool Mickey balloons and saw a huge Mickey on the wall. He's every where down there :)

Swinging at the park!

Doing my super cool jumps off of the benches.

I miss you so much, Aunt Debbie!!

In the pool! Thank you, Gammy, for taking me in :)

Woohoo!!

With Mommy and baby sister :)

Playing with Isabella.

Riding in the golf cart...so fun!

Driving the golf cart!

Bathtime crazy hair :)

My favorite thing is to line up the trucks and cars....they have so many fun toys there!

Coming into the driveway after going super fast on the ATV with John....it was a blast!

Looking back in awe at the ATV....I love that thing!
So my hair was super curly in Florida too....it loves humidity!

I'll be ready to take this out myself here soon.

We had such a great time and miss everyone in Florida already!!

Cowboy day

Jackson had cowboy day at his school a few weeks ago....here is our little cowboy in training :)

Happy 3rd Birthday, Jackson!

We cannot believe our little guy is 3 years old! Time is flying by and he always makes us laugh and smile. He continues to amaze us daily with all the things he knows and can do....he is a little sponge loves to learn! Here are a few pictures from his actual birthday (we are having a party with friends at the end of the month).

Helping me get the last bit of snow/ice off of the driveway. It was in the low 50s so we didn't even need our jackets on!

We found the singing Elmo in the basement from his 1st birthday. Still a hit :)

Getting ready to enjoy some cupcakes he helped me make!

I kept trying to take pictures and he just wanted to enjoy his cupcake (thus the look on his face!)!

Yea 3!!

Snow!!

We have had such a dry, mild winter so far that we keep forgetting it is winter here! Last week, we received a few inches of snow and then yesterday we had our first measurable snow in a long time (and it was freezing cold too!). Jackson loved being out in the snow both times and could stay outside forever....he is a snow bunny!

Jackson had to try to ride his tricycle in the first snow....it was a little tricky with the snow, boots and all!

Helping us shovel one of the many times yesterday.....he loves to work!

The big wheel had to come out in the snow too....it may need some snow tires!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2011!! We cannot believe another year is upon us. We were supposed to host a party at our house this year, but both Alex and I got sick and we had to cancel.....we still tried our best to ring in the new year at home with Jackson at 7:00pm that night. Jackson had a great time with all of the party gear :)

Woo-hoo!!

New Year's Day.....Jackson had to keep celebrating and decided to include Baby Sister in the celebration too :)

Happy New Year to you all and we hope 2011 brings you good health and happiness!!

Christmas

We had such a fun Christmas down at Nee and Pop's house in Colorado Springs. They hosted all 14 of us (Alex's entire family was there!) for a whole week and we appreciate all they did for us. We were so thankful to have everyone together :) The weather was beautiful the whole time, so although we didn't have a white Christmas, it was great to be able to get out for hikes, adventures, etc. each day! We then celebrated with my family the weekend after Christmas and had lots of fun again! Here are a few pictures.....

Riding the carousel at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's night of lights event.

Playing a duet :)

All the cousins together again!

Christmas morning.....Jackson opened a super fun tri-level garage (complete with an elevator and car wash). One of the many great gifts he received.

December

So I've managed to let another month slip by without a post....forgive me! I will attempt to update you on a few things that have been going on. At the beginning of December, we found out we will be having a little girl :) We are so grateful that everything looked good with the ultrasound too! Jackson is very excited to have a little sister and we hope this continues!

Jackson is doing great and had a fun Christmas program at school that was adorable. He had been practicing the songs at school and at home for a long time, but at the program he appeared to be in awe of all of the people that were there watching and didn't sing every song. He did sing and dance to a few though and you'll see him doing this below. It was a priceless program!
Here are a few snapshots to share....

We just found out about our little girl :)

Visiting Santa....Jackson was really excited this year. He talked to Santa and smiled in a picture with him. Finally, a year without tears!

Jackson singing in his Christmas program at school. He was such a cute lamb :)

Can't wait for Christmas this year!
