Practicing at home
We have been doing a lot of practicing around here lately.....Jackson has been practicing with his "Baby Sister" doll for his real sister's arrival. He takes his doll and puts her to sleep in the bassinet every time he goes upstairs to take a nap or go to sleep at night....he also likes to watch part of a show with her in his lap sometimes in the morning before breakfast. It is so precious!

Dentist
Jackson was so excited to go to the dentist....he's gone with me to just watch my last few appointments and get acclimated with what they do there, but this was his first true appointment. He did a great job! He loved sitting in the big chair and showing off all his teeth!

We have had a pretty mild winter so far (we know there has to be lots of snow to come!), and we've been lucky to be able to spend some nice days outside!
My little worker bee still loves to get the lawn mower out in the winter time on the snow!
Then we headed inside for Jackson's first cup of hot chocolate! He took a couple of sips and then said he was done....he then wanted just water to drink out of a cool coffee cup :)
The next weekend, we were able to go to the park and it was beautiful! We (I say "we" but really mean Alex and Jackson) ran up and down hills all over the park as well as played on all the equipment. We also had a picnic lunch on the grass which was lots of fun :)

We had a wonderful time in the mountains with our friends the Jordans....they were so gracious to host us at their beautiful place! We had a sledding adventure which added to our great weekend!!

We had a fun birthday party for Jackson at Little Monkey Bizness at the end of January! He loves that place and it was great to have some friends and family celebrate with us!! Here are some pictures:
