Capturing moments

It's quite a big task to capture moments on video with Jackson. He is the king of doing something super cute and then the moment the camera is rolling, he will stop immediately as if he was never doing it in the first place! He gives the look of "get the paparazzi out of here!" However, since he likes watching himself on video, maybe he's coming around to the idea (after 2 years!). We hope to capture more and more precious moments as they are priceless!

Jackson has loved counting for a while now and is currently venturing above ten....the teens are pretty tricky though, so we are still working on them!

Singing the Hello Song from music class....he kind of gets side-tracked during parts which makes it even better!

Around the house

Just doing a little work around the house with my goggles, hammer and ice cream cone!

Eating dinner with my fork all by myself....can you tell?

Riding my bike out back :)

Playing outside!

Just some recent fun this past week....notice the difference in attire across all the pics...we've gone from the 40s to 70s in the span of a few days. We hope the warm weather is here to stay but realize we do live in Colorado :)

Trying to make all the snow go away with my rake :)

Using the spatula from the grill as a shovel....very resourceful!!

Wanna play some catch?

Sesame Street Live

We had a great weekend which included going to Sesame Street Live! Jackson was so excited to see all of his favorite Sesame Street friends dancing and singing in from of him :)

Easter

We had a fun Easter with the Martinis and some good family friends down in Castle Rock! We went out for a yummy brunch and then back to Gammy and Gampy's house for some fun--it was a beautiful day all around and it was great to celebrate with everyone :)

Isabella and Jackson all rested after their naps!

Jackson showing us his dance moves :)

Getting to ride with Gampy on the tractor!

Trip to Portland

Playing a big xylophone at the Portland Children's Museum...I love this thing!!

We had a wonderful trip to Portland to visit my dear friends Staci, Leon and their new baby Griffin at the end of March. Jackson did such a great job flying again (he continues to like the "bumps" which is what he calls turbulence and we sure did have a lot of them as it was stormy in Denver, Portland and everywhere in between! I think Jackson thinks we were on a roller coaster ride!). Staci and Leon recently finished building a new house and it is gorgeous! We had such a fun time and getting to meet baby Griffin was so special. He is such a cutie pie! Staci and Leon are such great parents and it was fun to spend some time with them :) We miss them so much already!!

The girls and their boys!

So much fun in the water center at the Children's museum.

Loving Marionberry jam on my toast....can you tell?!

My big boy seat!

I'm not going to get too close as Griffin is so little and I'm worried I might wake him! He is so sweet :)

Having Fun

Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks...just having some fun!

Practicing mowing indoors.

Jackson likes to work around the house (without any encouragement!) and we're thinking he's going to be a huge help with jobs when he gets a little older!

We can finally ride the trike outside again now that the snow is gone....yea! I'm just learning to use the pedals!

A man's work is never done....but I keep my truck close by in case I finish :)

My hair is growing so much that I have a bigger mohawk now in the tub!

Cheese!
